Excitement! I got a call from BBC Radio today, and it seems that they are interested in training me in thier studios, where I would be helping to create thier various radio programs. They were impressed by things I have done in the past, like my continuing participation in the (admittedly wondrous) Metempsychosis project, and my work on the board of KLC Radio in Portland. They will be hiring sometime within the month, at which point they will call me, so that I can begin the application process. This kind of work is right up my alley, and I am buzzed as all hell about it. Wish me luck!

Still having a great time in London. Today was probably my first day that was just about normal. I just did some wash and hung out, feeding myself when necesary. Had some great fajitas thanks to two cool guys named Ryan (yeah, both of them), and worked on my nearly completed remixes of the Zelda theme. Sadly, I am not sure when you, the public, will get a chance to hear those, since I have no internet access at home, and no CD burner. And you'll have to excuse me if this page gets updated a little less, as my life is just way too cool to type into this screen everyday. Doesn't that sound snotty. Well, it is. Nah! Ehehehehe.

I have now safely landed in London and I am beginning to settle in. I have a very cozy little flat that looks out on a community garden and what I believe is one of the towers of Westminster Cathedral. As I type I am in an internet cafe on Merylebone Street. Tonight I am celebrating the birth of a certain Daniel Burzynski aka Contax at a pub in Hoxton. Life is suddenly not at all boring. Quite to the contrary actually. Wish me luck as I begin to get my bearings.

Excitement is everywhere, and the Earth shivers with anticipation as a new era in my life begins to begin. Yes, tomorrow at 4:45pm PST I will get on a plane and fly away to London, England, arriving the next day at 10:30 GMT. I will then meet up with my buddy Alex and catch a ride to Wigram House in Central London, right next to Westminster Cathedral, where I will be living for the next four months. During that time, I will be taking classes at the University of Westminster, looking for work, and generally having an amazing time. I also plan to make out with a few English birds.

Yes: Next time I type my life will have changed completely. Wish me luck!

My name is Matt Wright and I live in Portland, Oregon. When I don't realize that my picture is being taken, I generally look like this. I like to make music using my computer, and, lucky for you, I also like to put mp3s of said music up on this very webpage.

I am releasing (if you can call putting files on the web releasing) my music under the name Comma, which is why this webpage says "Comma" at the top. Of course, it actually says "Comma," but does that silly little punctuation make any difference? Well, yes. The title of the webpage is pronounced "Comma (pretentious pause)". Of course, you can leave out the pause normally, but not when you are talking about the webpage. This webpage is very artistic and important. Never forget this, as it is vital.

What else... Ah yes, if you haven't already noticed, I am part of this way superbad group of like-minded people called Metempsychosis. The site you see here is but one branch an ever growing... tree? Check out the main site for more good music.

And, of course, I'd be way stoked if you'd e-mail me.
